I booked a double session for myself and my wife during our trip to Japan, with the intention of enjoying a relaxing experience together. I had a body massage, while my wife booked a combination of a body massage and a face massage.

While my own massage was pleasant and professionally delivered, my wife’s experience unfortunately did not meet the same standard. She advised that her therapist barely applied pressure, relying mostly on very light, feathery fingertip movements for both the face massage and the body massage. This was not consistent with the quality of service I received, and as a result, we were left quite disappointed.

On a positive note, the staff were friendly and the venue itself was in a nice location with a pleasant atmosphere. However, the overall experience was disappointing, particularly as my wife left without feeling relaxed or refreshed — which was the main reason for our visit. This was one of the activities we had most looked forward to on our trip, and it required a significant effort to adjust our itinerary to reach the location.

Amazing spa in Akasaka! It had the exact vibes I wanted - effective, soothing, very chic, luxurious feeling, but still very approachable! I especially recommend it for busy women, tourists and locals - they have hair tools, cold towels, pretty much anything that can get you from here to a date or a meeting smoothly afterwards.

I got the Nami set (120 minutes) which was absolutely worth it - Mio was professional and very sweet~ She used gentle pressure and even then it was more relaxing than some painful massages I've had elsewhere. This is definitely a place I'll be returning to when I come back to Tokyo.
