Came on a Wednesday evening as a walk in and got to sit in front of the bartender.

Have to take off shoes before entering but they take care of your shoes for you.

1 female bathroom and 1 unisex bathroom available.

Amazing vibe, positive and energetic staff, super friendly and welcoming. Greetings, thank you's and bows all the time. I love how the staff seem to love what they do. Everything they do, they do with a smile and at 120%!

Ordered some Izakaya skewers, a highball cocktail and calpris. When I ordered the grilled mackerel they torched it right beside me with all the staff singing to it. It definitely got the excitement up.

There seems to be fish, pork and chicken options served but no beef. But all the food was super delicious. Having sitting in front of the bartender and the cook, I can see how much they enjoy their work and appreciate serving good food to their customers.

It was also my partner's birthday and with the limited English that they knew they still drew us a complimentary birthday cake with wishes written. It was super cute and super sweet.

There were about 5 people working (2 servers, 1 at grill, 1 bartender and 1 main cook), they all worked in sync, hand-in-hand with great communication. I can feel the excitement and happiness in the air. And the attention to detail and hospitality that they served was amazing.

My server Linda was super cute, even when she was finishing her shift she still chatted with me, gave us hugs and wishes my partner a happy birthday once again.

Upon leaving, the other server set our shoes ready for us, gave us candies and bowed to us a good farewell. Even without us looking and even with us meters apart she was blowing. I felt completely honoured and amazed.

HORRID.EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK.THEY FORCE YOU TO BUY A DRINK in order to order food RIDICULOUS.unsanitary. if you are a foreiner and read this avoid this place if you dont want to get sick during your trip. Loud terrible and rude service.dont trust phony 5 stars.nothing cozy about here you are elbow to elbow with stangers when sitting.the whatever tofu stew was just full of grease and inedible.the meat was low quality.It was absolutely disgusting .the staff was grabbing the food bare hand than wiping himself on his pants than touching the food again than cleaned the knife with a dirty rug to than handle the food again without cleaning himself once 🤮 im horrified when it comes to this extremely low level of food handling.none of the staff wire mask or net or gloves when handling food.they left bones in the fish and have no clue how to properly cut food.young inexperienced staff with a complete lack of basics . The food was beyond disgusting .they try to be hip and new this ISNT JAPANESE BY ANY MEAN.they try to be hype and modetn its a huge fail .The karaage tasted like american style fried chicken worst than kfc . Both my friend and i got home we both ended up WITH BAD BAD BAD STOMACHACHE . Spend the night in the bathroom it backfired badly.there were made aware of the issue the same day and handked it so poorly.they only care about money.zero pride . DONT EAT HERE RUN . This is super touristy . Prices are crazy high . Their tea is COLD even in the freezing winteryou have to specifically ask for hot.will NEVER COME BACK NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND IT . Use to be good in the paste the quality and taste is BELOW LOW NOW . Absolutely outrageous.left most of the food on the table it was SUPER GREASY AND WAY TOO HEAVY ....

Wonderful Yakitori discovery in a quieter alley in Shibuya. We have now been to this restaurant many times and they never disappoint. The place is a lot bigger than it seemed from the facade. This is one of those Izakaya’s which asks you to take off your shoes inside the entrance, which is always a welcomed relief for sore feet after walking all day.

They have an English menu!!! For overseas visitors, this makes the ordering so much easier!

We enjoyed many appetizers and skewers. The cucumbers with minced chicken dips were quite nice! Of the appetizers, we particularly enjoyed the pickled mackerel, the yuzu jellyfish, and the soft liver. The marinated tomatoes and the salads had light, subtle flavors.

Word of warning that this restaurant gets quite busy and the Yakitori skewers will take more time. Everything was grilled just right, but the neck skewers were the most impressive as they are not so prevalent. So tender! Highly recommend you order all your sticks upfront, as reordering will require patience. This is also a very busy restaurant but the staffs are all professionals doing their best.
