I had to try spaghetti napolitan while in Japan, and this place was actually really good. I got the works which included a fried egg, a very thick slab of smoky bacon, meatballs, and a scoop of potato salad. As an American this plate looked insane, but it was really tasty, and if I were local I would be a regular.
The sauce is sweeter than typical tomato sauce, but less sweet than American ketchup. It works well with the thick spaghetti noodles. You choose the size of your order: SM, MED, LG, or XL. Pictured here is a small, which was plenty!
The shop is down a flight of stairs, and the atmosphere is simple but cozy. You place your order at a computer terminal when you enter, and it has an option for an English menu. The menu is pretty straight forward: It's mostly spaghetti with your choice of toppings.

The meat sauce pasta was especially good after adding parmesan and enough chilli oil. Having the option to put a fat slab of bacon or a fried egg on top of pasta seems barbaric, but there is something oddly satisfying about it. The odd food and the interior gives this place a welcoming and friendly vibe that I look forward to seeing again. The vending machine is not fully translated in English but reading katakana or using Google lens will make it easy to order. Dishes have pictures, but the category page...
Read moreGreat tasty food, generous portions and reasonably prices. Just got to know this basement (B1) little restaurant, because of passing by the small street menu board at the building entrance. Like many Japanese restaurants, a menu ordering machine is next to the main entry door where you need to select your option using coins or paper bills and get a ticket. The server will get the ticket and ask for the desired food portion (300g, 400g or 600g) with same price tag. Nobody asked me about portions ever before! Cold water is free. The place is so small, you may need to wait to get a table, but it is...
