One of the best ramen places that offer vegan and halal options! Coming in with family of five, two being kids, I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying a great meal in a warm -inviting atmosphere. Not too far of a walk from the famous Shibuya crossing and next to the Pandora store, we waited around the area until they opened at 12pm. Come early as you can’t make a reservation and it was pretty busy fast! Coming down the stairs into a sliding door, we were greeted warmly by staff and waiter. The restaurant is small but fit my family and another family of four with ease. My Japanese is a working progress but it was refreshing to be able to communicate in English. We ordered A5 Wagyu Gyukatsu Set (spiced level at 5, but can changed the spicy level lower or higher to your liking) that included rice, two gyozas, kimchi, gyukatsu pieces that was rare but can be cooked to your liking on a table grill, and a dessert pudding with strawberry sauce. We also got the Wagyu White Broth special ramen that included some crispy chicken that stayed juicy and crispy even in broth! We order the Shrimp Tempura rice bowl which included some of the best veggies and egg tempura I’ve had in a while! We got extra gyoza as my kids loves them! Overall 10/10 for food as it was flavorful and delicious(I finished the white broth!) and the service! Everything was fresh, hot, and tasty! Definitely will come back again and recommend anyone who love options other than pork! It’s worth it! Tried to add the video of the whole meal that included the Tempura Shrimp rice bowl but...
Read moreWe walked in not expecting much, just looking for a spot to escape the hustle and bustle of Shibuya and grab a bite. You have to find the place first as it’s tucked away down a narrow unassuming staircase. When we arrived it was full, but luckily there was no line.
The food was great and the staff were warm and attentive. Our waiter Faisal took great care of us and made the experience even better. We ordered the Wagyu set, the special ramen, and the gyukatsu, and everything was absolutely delicious. The dragon mural on the wall was a standout feature, adding to the unique atmosphere. But the real surprise was the dessert, an incredibly delicate milk pudding that felt like a panna cotta topped with a single marinated strawberry in strawberry sauce. It was so good it caught me off guard.
If you’re in Shibuya and looking for a hidden gem with great food, warm service, and a little bit of art, Gyumon Ramen is definitely...
Read moreWe had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Gyumon Halal Ramen! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch.
The food was exceptional—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
What truly made our evening memorable, though, was our waitress, Afina. She was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Afina made us feel welcomed and cared for without being overbearing. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her timing was impeccable. It's clear she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it made all the difference.
We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for Afina again. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and...
