Visiting japan for the second time , we always go to the shio ramen house nearby and my son and i wanted to try their new mango drinks. My family was waiting for me at a table so we could leave after. I paid the cashier. The barista made my son's frap and was in the process of making my carbonated mango drink. The guy there whom i presumed was the manager suddenly came to the pickup area and demanded my receipt. I showed him. He kept saying one. I dont know japanese. My receipt showed the drinks. The barista finally made my soda and i pointed to that saying thats mine. She gave it to me and as i was walking out with my family, he was saying one very rudely. We came to the conclusion that he was saying 1 drink per person per table. It wasnt like we hanging around or anything but just patiently waiting for our drinks to then exit. First time ever i felt i was being judged for nothing in japan. Btw the guy was kinda pudgy and had colored hair kinda burgundy...
Read moreSeemed to be an unusually small Starbucks with about 15 seats, but a rather prominent location. Used to be more prominent before a big department store closed down. Only trace in Google Maps was the name of a neighboring bus stop. I guess the small size made it feel imbalanced towards merchandise, but it still feels pretty typical. I should note that I don't like the backless stools, which are more than half of the seats. Later I found out there are about 55 more seats and a restroom upstairs. Much nicer seats, too.
