Uoshin Shibuya — Restaurant in Tokyo

This restaurant has English speaking staff and are extremely nice and helpful. Called on a Monday night and they were able to reserve a table for us. When we arrived they were actually pretty busy! The staff recommended a bunch of dishes and they were all delicious.

Definitely recommend the sashimi platter to just try out the different kinds of fish. The best that I remember was the barracuda. The grilled prawn was probably the best thing I've had that night. They even fry the head and you can eat it...

There was a cockroach on the table next to us and the lady sitting there had to kill it with a towel .... Dishes were quite expensive for the quality of the ingredients (sashimi and crab were ok but urchin was not fresh, with crumbling shape and becoming liquid as soon as you touch it ... and salmon roe was a bit bland)

Also, we ordered the expensive crab but shell was only half filled. (Basically we didn’t get the leg meat) I feel kind of cheated compared to what other customers...

Amazing sushi and restaurant! After a long day of walking all over Tokyo, we wanted a satisfying healthy spot so we came to this spot. The service was great, kind and fast. Without a reservation, they still were able to accommodate us in this bustling restaurant. Wonderful fresh sashimi that the owner personally purchases from the local fish market in Tokyo.
