Starbucks Coffee - Tamagawa Takashimaya Shopping Center — Restaurant in Tokyo

This location is hard to enjoy because it’s simply too crowded. Even if you’re lucky enough to be able to go during normal working hours, when you’d assume it would be less busy, it’s crowded with students studying and groups of young mothers chatting. I have never seen it without a huge lineup that extends outside the store. Given that the pandemic is still going, I can’t help but wonder why it’s always so jam-packed (seats quite close together, as well) and there seems to be no time limit for seating either.

The only real redeeming quality is the special menu items available, and the terrace where you can sit when the weather is warm. Otherwise you’d be better off going to any other Starbucks instead. The long lines and crowded atmosphere are...

One of the better Starbucks I've been too. We went to the rooftop garden, walked around towards the park and sort of seating area and found this Starbucks hidden! The outside is lovely, there's a long table and a few smaller ones and it's very calm and relaxing there. There seemed to be a lot of seating inside and from inside you can access the shopping mall. There were plenty of cakes and sandwiches available however I had to scan a QR code for a menu so I could practice my order in Japanese! It is quite spacious and were able to find seats right away. It has good speed Wi-Fi and have enough long tables even for the whole office to be able to work at the same time.
