Sushi Kan — Restaurant in Tokyo

The is a Kaiseki style restaurant, so there is no menu. The chef decides on the meal depending on what is in season and fresh. We were the only non Asians there and little English was spoken, but the staff ( and even other diners) tried to make us feel at home. The food was great and sometimes different from what we were accustomed to. The sushi chef prepared everything right in front of us and explained each dish, in his limited but adequate English . What he didn’t know the other staff helped with or we used a translator app. He even made substitutions to accommodate my wife. Family ran, cozy sushi place. I was very satisfied with the meal here. Price is very reasonable and the drinks are reasonably priced as well. There isn't a menu for the drinks as there aren't too many drinks to choose from. However don't be afraid to ask for a nihonshu or any other drinks as it turns out they are very reasonably priced.
