避雷❗️日本主厨老头重男轻女 歧视中国人 当天下午五点场,发现预定的八九位客人全是中国人(其中唯一一个英国男还是被中国人一起带来的)只能说杰伦确实带火了这家店,提前一个月订只剩下最后一个位置),作为杰迷跟风,所以行程都是围绕这餐饭来安排的。 本来满怀期待,没想到发生这种事: 因为我和我老公是最先到的,所以安排在板前的主厨靠左第一顺位,后续位置都是由客人到达时间按顺序落座的,上菜也是这个顺序 但是!主厨在切完同一条鱼之后,老是把边角料或小份给我(女生)!即使所有人都吃完了前面是空的,切到大块肉时或跳过我先给后面的男士!尤其是英国男性 我这c位观察可太清晰了,没想到人均一千五还能遇到日本这种重男轻女(女生默认吃小份)这种文化糟糠。 拜托,我是付钱那位,你看不起谁呢!?以为都像日本一样女性依附男性,没社会地位呢??? 而且当天几乎是中国客人,主厨老头没法怎么区别对待,要是有一半白人,他必定会呈现大规模的歧视 之前看到有人说日本越高级的餐厅越搞这一套,真的见识了 再好的食材也食之无味 各位同胞尤其是姐妹,感兴趣的话可以去亲眼目睹体验一下 会在google map和tabelog上同步发声。 主厨说自己16岁开始做这一行,那必定是孤儿,才能捏出如此技艺精湛并失去人情味的寿司吧🍣 The old Japanese chef favors men over women and discriminates against Chinese people At 5pm that day, I found that the eight or nine guests who had booked were all Chinese (the only British man was brought by the Chinese). Best meal that I have ever had. The Sushi was fantastic and the experience was one of a kind. We dined late and had the 15,000y dinner, and it was worth twice that price. Have your hotel call and reserve your spot, sit at the counter, and be amazed. We lucked out and got a spot that night, and were the only customers in there so we had the Chef'sfull attention. Watching Takeshi Wakatsuki work was a wonderful experience. He is a true master of his art... And it is art. He even helped us select a fantastic nihonshu to pair with our dinner.

The food... The food was magic. I've had the privilege of eating at several Michelin rated places (first Bib Gourmand sushi, though), and I can say that this was the best. The fish quality was superb and expertly prepared. It melts in your mouth and each piece is fashioned with the exact dressing to make it perfect. I cannot fathom better sushi being made.

The staff was amazingly courteous and helpful. The chef and head waiter explained each piece and how to eat it... So if you're new to Sushi, you won't feel out of place at all. Chef Wakatsuki was professional and friendly, he even took photos with us. We were the last customers of the day so we had his full attention and he even met us at the door as we left. Naturally, as American tourists, we took photos in front with him. He was very accommodating and gracious. It was one of the best experiences of my life!!

Of all the sushi restaurants I ate at in Tokyo, this was by far the best and it’s not even close. In particular, the Uni is far better than any I have had even at other famous sushi restaurants. I cannot comprehend how they make it so delicious.

Every time I ate at another sushi restaurant I found myself wishing that I had come back here again instead…

I was lucky enough to eat here for lunch with a native Japanese speaker who was able to translate and understand the origin of each fish and its preparation— for instance they simmer their shrimp for 65 seconds in a certain way in order to obtain a range of textures, and it was remarkable delicious.

In addition to fantastic sushi they also have their own blend of herbal tea which is delicious— they also provide it for sale, I only wish that I had bought more…

Although it is not cheap (~18,000 yen) it is worth it for the price, and far more delicious than more expensive places I tried during my trip.
