What a lovely building! Architecturally stunning with a gracefully sloping roof adorned on the ceiling with natural wood lapstrake that extends beyond the windows to frame a beautiful woodland view. The menu is limited. The homemade ginger ale is delicious with a nice gingery bite and just enough sweetness. The "Avocado and Salmon" sandwich was just awful. The salmon was fine, but there was no discernible avocado beyond a slight green tinge to what seemed to be butter spread on the middle of a slice of unremarkable crust-trimmed white bread; there may have been lemon in there too. I payed 2000 yen plus 8% tax for two mouthfuls of fish that was supposed to be the main meal, and when I asked for butter for my bread roll, they told me it would cost a 100 yen!?
