We (a couple of foreigners) were tired of walking around trying to find a nice place to sit and eat calmly in these crowded streets.
This restaurant seemed a bit ignored when we were there, only one person was eating inside.
As we are some sort of adventurers ourselves, with no further information we decided to enter.
We instantly received some Japanese cheering coming loud from the back of the kitchen.
We of course understood nothing but it felt very warm and welcoming, please continue to do that, we love these small things.
The guy at the counter couldn't speak English well but as always we managed to understand ourselves and sat down to order.
The menu is quite reduced (good news) and very easy to understand.
The guy showed us a meal on the card while saying "ヌンバ一" and we trusted him (I speak no Japanese but I try hard - actually what I just wrote is some English 👍)
I'd love to be able to communicate more.
While we were waiting I took the time to watch around.
The place seems old.
The guy a the counter seemed a bit annoyed (not especially by us but in general).
Nothing too special beside this.
The service was very quick, and the meal with eggs and meatballs very good and fulfilling, the price seems very correct.
The amount of meat and quality of the chicken is noticeable, the noodles are not overcooked, the soup is very tasty, the eggs perfect, the meatballs have a special taste that I couldn't describe but it blends well with the rest.
The place was calm the Friday, somewhere about 8pm.
There are small water fountains in front of each seat, I've never seen that anywhere before, and this is very practical, I liked it.
Globally, everything was well arranged, practical and easy to understand.
I probably have nothing to add, I would definitely come...
Read moreHidden chicken ramen shop from the busy main street. The place is small but since it's a ramen shop, the customers quickly come and go. Typical dining experience with individual chairs seated around a counter.
You order on the machine which has different language options and you can customize your ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful, yet surprisingly light so you don't feel tired and heavy afterwards like typical ramen restaurants. They also have a cold ramen option which doesn't have the broth. Loved their spicy miso paste!
Accepts various...
Read moreTaste is ok portion is generous. If you are hungry for chicken then go. Price is good considering a big chunk of chicken thigh on top. If you are not a meat person I don’t recommend the place. The chicken was just too much for me and at some point I was grossed out had a hard time to finish the bowl.
Also I think that the chicken was only pre cooked but not grilled. No flavor, no appetizing golden color that you can see on photos here. Could be that they just changed the recipe...
