I was out super late and really wanted to keep playing games. Luckily this place was still open after everything else had closed.
The staff were very hospitable. A couple of staff members noticed I was struggling with the crane games and guided me towards an easier machine. When I kept struggling they moved it a bit so I could get the prize easier. I was able to improve my technique and I got a prize! Granted I still have a lot to learn so I tried a few others without luck. The machines here work very well and the claws are strong. I find that at other places they are quite flimsy and don't push or move the prizes very much.
This place has a variety of different crane machines besides the usual one with the prize suspended on 4 bars. So you can try a variety here!
I really enjoyed the music games on the higher floors too. You can also get a game card on those floors to keep your scores.
I really recommend this place and I would like to thank the staff for making my visit...
Read moreI went to Akihabara late May for one day only. I picked this place out of all the arcades because I heard it had a floor dedicated to music. I was hoping to see 'Para Para Paradise', but no luck...I'm not sure if it's a dead trend in all of Japan, but considering many places have retro and old games, I was sincerely hoping to see it. Anyways, since they didn't have it, I spent most of my time learning and playing 'MaiMai' which I've seen in youtube videos but never in person. I also played Taiko and this Love Live Game (with my last Y100..wasn't worth it lol). I know arcades can be quite loud, but this was a bit louder than I'm use to. I also didn't really like the 'white decor'? I'm so used to darker themed arcades and game stations. Lots of white, and lots of lighting. The games themselves are fine, and I don't regret passing here. I didn't check out the other floors as I was only interested in the music games, but I guess it was a bit different...
Read moreThe crane game staff was watching me and when the figure was in a standing position, its clearly not winnable and they simply stared at me. They are unhelpful and know that foreigners will just spend helplessly. After a few tries I walked away defeated and only when I walked away they instantly reset the machine and I just think it’s extremely terrible customer service. I understand they have a protocol but to make it such that they do not even try to help reset it when the customer is struggling. The staff are badly trained or new at working at game centres it seems. That’s why this arcade isn’t popular, only came here for the rhythm games, do not play the...
