After entering the restaurant, my was boyfriend placing the order while I went straight to the restroom because of stomachache. There were only two restrooms, one for men and one for women. I waited in line before it was my turn.
Shortly after I entered, a girl started banging on the door aggressively. While seated, I called out in English, “I’m sorry, it’s occupied. I have a stomachache, and it will take a while.” To my shock, a staff attempted to unlock the door and repeatedly tried to push it open.
I struggled to hold the door shut from the inside, but the girl continued pounding on it, and kept trying to force it open. The waitress didn’t understand English, was shouting at me in Japanese. I felt utterly helpless.
I texted my boyfriend and asked him to come to the restroom door to use a translator app to explain the situation. However, the waitress ignored him and continued slapping the door and fiddling with the lock.
When I came out, a young Japanese man yelled at me rudely in English, “Get out! Get out!” He was very offensive and disrespectful.
We had ordered a variety of dishes beforehand, but after this upsetting and infuriating incident, we decided to leave without any eating.
At the door, after I told the male staff all this matter, he apologized and said“No need to pay.” He kept saying, “Sorry,” which was the only redeeming moment of the experience. For that, I’m giving one star, otherwise it worth ZERO!!!!
Service: Absolutely terrible!
