I ordered a dish called “tsukemen”. It consists of noodles served with a separate bowl of soup where you are supposed to dip them. The taste was great. Even though I’m not a big fan of meat, I enjoyed the flavour and softness of the meat in the soup. You can also add a sort of paste called “yuzukoshyo” with a slightly citrus flavour. Adding it to your soup and eating it with noodles even enriches the flavour. After finishing your meal, you can ask for “Owari”, which is bouillon added to the soup so you can drink it. Like I was expecting too much cuz it’s based on Tonkatsu ramen from Kyushu area. Shop atmosphere is very good, I like it very much about Showa taste. But I don’t like 2 things about ramen which is soup was not so boiled enough and the noodle was not traditional very thin noodle like Kyushu style noodle, they serve regular like color egg noodle which I don’t like. The food was far too salty, to the point that I couldn’t eat it and ended up leaving most of it. Honestly, it didn’t taste good either. On top of that, the staff were really unfriendly, and to make things worse, I was told at checkout that they only accept cash, which was just ridiculous.
