Popped by this izakaya when a redditor recommended this restaurant chain for its fresh sashimi. Unfortunately they were not catered for foreigners as no english menu and the japanese menu had a font type that made google translation challenging.
Nonetheless we trudged on to try as a middle-aged host was welcoming despite the language barrier. It was early so we were the only customers then. With all the gesturing and photos-showing, we managed to order some great tasting food.
First off, there was ~500 yen “cover charge” in the form of appetiser - oden at the time of our visit. Sashimi was omakase-style (their choice) but fresh and really reasonably priced (in fact we were still wondering if they charged us lower erroneously).
