I actually booked this head spa after being refunded for another appointment due to a scheduling conflict. I found them through instagram and they responded right away! Never had issues with communications and they even checked-in with me on the day of my session to make sure I don't get lost.

As I got in, Aimi greeted me and prepared me for the treatment. I got a consultation sheet and she explained to me the process. We were able to communicate even with my very little Japanese.

I had the 110 minute course which included the head bath and hydrogen treatment. The whole experience is surreal. The salon smelled amazing as well as their aromatherapy. The spanist's massage technique was so relaxing that it immediately put me to sleep! They ended the course with a warm drink and a snack while drying and styling my hair with the straightener to lock the shine for a week.

I feel so refreshed after this session and the girls who catered me were lovely and amazing. Aimi was so helpful as she took videos and photos for me (with my consent - they ask during consultation) as I was asleep during the head bath. It was such a beautiful memory of my time in Shibuya and I would definitely come back when I visit Tokyo in the future ╰(´︶`)╯♡

Tip: If you will be going to the Shibuya branch, pin Naruto Shibuya Kitchen which is beside their building. The headspa is located on B1 together with...

We (group of 5 girls) contacted the headpsay only 48 hours before the appointment, but they actually managed to squeeze us in. We all booked the biggest package with a duration of 110 minutes + the microscopic diagnosis (which is extra, no matter which package you chose).

When you arrive, you first fill out a questionnaire so that they can get a better feeling your expectations. The staff doesn't speak a lot of English, but will smoothly communicate via an online translator with you.

After the questionnaire, we were led in a seperate room downstairs and seated. Each of us was introduced to one expert. Mine was Nao. It is super quiet there and the additionally, the staff will also speak quietly (which just adds to the relaxing atmosphere).

I first got a microscopic diagnosis where they take photos from the roots of your hair (fascinating and a bit disgusting). Nao then started washing my hair and also giving me the BEST SCALP MASSAGE of my life! She also got some tension out of my neck and shoulders. I can't tell you when, but at some point, I fell asleep, so I missed at least 20 minutes of the headspa treatment, but whatever happened in those 20 minutes: it must have been very relaxing :D

I absolutely adored Nao and felt really well taken care...

On my first visit to a Tokyo hair spa, I had an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating experience at The Head Spa Tokyo. It's highly recommended for anyone seeking a pampering treatment before exploring the city. My specialist, Akutsu, was incredibly thorough and kind. She assessed my scalp's sensitivity before proceeding with the hair treatment, and provided a thorough explanation on what she was going to do as well.

Her scalp massage was pure heaven, and the treatment itself left my hair silky smooth, deeply nourished, and the color vibrant and even. Surprisingly, the treatment didn't irritate my scalp at all! Even if you don't speak Japanese, they know how to communicate in English. You can easily book a pampering session on Hot Pepper beauty or just chat them up on IG! I can't wait to return for another pampering session on my...

Had the 90 min scalp treatment from Akutsu. She was so good. Explained everything she was doing and try to help me in the future to take care of my scalp. Her massage was very strong and relaxing. I needed this after running around in Japan for 9 days. Highly recommended
