Sushi-no-darihan — Restaurant in Tokyo

The atmosphere was relaxed because the crowd was so boisterous! Even towards non-Japanese speaking customers, the chefs and servers were very warm and friendly. The sushi set was really good and value for money - for about USD22 you get fat-dripping otoro, creamy uni (not fishy) and unagi nigiri and an assortment of other nigiri. If you don't speak Japanese, they have a picture menu of about 8 items (ask for it) and a few more pictures above the counter. We saw people eating crab (kani), so you can discretely check out what others are having and ask for the same. Bixby Translate cannot read the handwritten Japanese menu.

Absolutely fantastic experience even if you just order...

Sushi-no-darihan had a fantastic array of meals. They were colourful and aromatic, with the freshest of fish and seafood splayed across the cozy table. The service was fast and the food was ready not even 2 minutes after we had ordered. The place was charged up and the atmosphere was electric with chatter erupting throughout. Highly recommend for food tourism, very authentic. NOTE: Extremely non-vegetarian, didn’t notice any vegetarian options. Images of sushi platter, fresh seafood and fried fish skull attached...

Very lively atmosphere, great servers, English Menu available- our server also spoke great English.

We ordered 14 (2 of each) a la cart items, and 1 set. I think we easily could have finished another set. Not to say it's not filling, we agreed it was a perfect portion, but it's so good you'll wish you had more. It was also our last Dinner in Japan so there's some regret. Definitely...
