WORST SERVICE We went in as a 9-person group for the advertised 90-item 1900yen eat-all-you-can course. We were told they are not serving that upon ordering and had to pay the more expensive course (2780yen). As we showed signs of leaving, they then told us they do serve the 1980yen course which was a bad sign from the start. The food was okay, but the service was really bad with the following points: Limiting the orders to 6 at a time and not allowing to order 2 servings of same dish eapecialy since there are 9 of us. Delayed serving of food and not done in order. We are really confused what was happening and if we still have orders coming. Lost orders. They cancel some of your orders if it is slightly similar to the other. Shichuan mabodofu was canceled since there was basic mabodofu ordered. Incosistent food amounts. Seriously, what was 4 pcs shuumai suddenly become two and applies to other dishes as well. Rude service. At the end of dinner, they will not even give you water saying it is over, in a rude way. We would have understood if they told us in advance the earlier closing time due to new year but nope, that info was not mentioned so you'd sit and order then obliged to pay for subpar service. In the end, you would feel unwelcome as you order more. These kinds of restaurants feed on clueless customers who are confused on which same looking restaurant with all you can eat offers to choose and pull you in with a good store front. They dont seem to care for you to come back. YOU HAVE...
Read moreI rarely give bad reviews, but in my years living and visiting Japan I’ve never had a worst experience. Since the moment I arrived the cashier was rude to me as I only speak medium level Japanese (N4). She assigned me a table and never said it was a cash only restaurant (also no signs anywhere). I order a rice which was great and a chicken which was not my favorite (it was more like skin and and other parts of the chicken). When I left the restaurant the cashier rude again as I was counting every coin I had, I’m not used to the currency from here but she only rolled her eyes and asked me to moved, didn’t let me count the money in the counter. Again she just asked me to give her my money to count it herself, in the most annoying way. You can tell she is not Japanese as Japanese people will never be this rude. She was looking at me as if I was a homeless or gonna run without paying the check. I hope you guys change her back to the kitchen or somewhere where she is not talking to people. First time in Yokohama and my trip got ruined...
Read moreFirst, you have to ask a very specific question about the prices range. My friends and I went there for late lunch today, we got tricked by the prices they put on the entrance. It says 1980¥ (tax excluded) for 138 items to order from (include the famous Beijing duck) as we asked the staff in front of the restaurant, turned out 1980¥ was for 99 items menu so we needed to upgrade our plan to 2780¥ (tax excluded for bigger range of foods selections). The foods are not that good, AND their service was horrible! THEIR ATTITUDE WERE UNACCEPTABLY rude. They have rules, you can order 6 items max per time, leftovers are to be charged…etc Plus, we ordered ebichili (chili shrimp), instead we got chili squid. And they intentionally take a long time to prepare our order so that we will be filled out stomach by water while we wait! (It was 3pm, there weren’t that much customers around that time though) NOT recommend this place at all, you can find better authentic Beijing...
