LEONE MARCIANO — Restaurant in Yokohama

Absolutely loved our dining experience at Leone Marciano. First, the restaurant is beautiful! The wine list was decent. The food was amazing! There are course or a la carte options and we chose to order a la carte: calamari, two pastas (which the kitchen split for us), a meat dish each and desserts. Everything was exceptional! We were particularly impressed with the steak filet which was cooked perfectly - medium rare (as requested). The steak was lean - which is not as common in Japan and the peppercorn sauce was excellent! It was a generous size - as was my pork saltimbocca. The servers were very attentive and accommodating for our limited Japanese language skills. Leone Marciano will certainly be on our date night rotation! ...

Very presentation-focused, almost 'haute cuisine' type little dishes. This sort of thing is so common and popular in Japan but might be met with cynicism elsewhere, Italy included - it just sort of works to obscure the size of the portions. A bit pretentious. The tomato pasta at lunch just tasted exactly of simple tomato - would have needed more basil and pepper and parmesan for any flavour (but not provided at the table). The antipasti is subject to the quality of meat available in Tokyo which, all right aside from Wagyu beef, is much lower than it would...

弟夫婦と珍しく4名で楽しいランチ。アルコール付き(^^♪

弟夫婦と4名ランチ。 4名で260歳となる我々は少量で十分。 一番お安いランチに。 選択は全てお任せ。 僕には本格的なイタリア料理は分かりません( ;∀;)

PRANZO AMMIRAGLIATO（一番手ごろなランチ） Pranzo Ammiragliato : アミラリアートコース 前菜盛合せ、自家製パスタ2種から選択、デザートの3品のランチコース。

クラフトビールは芳醇とジャズベリーで飲み比べ シャンペンは「フランチャコルタ　ブリュットDOCG」に。

前回、宮古島での結婚式以来の会合。 互いの健康を確かめ合ってのよもやま話で楽しいひと時が過ごせた。

店内に入るとおぼ中央に我々の席が用意されていました。 店内の雰囲気もテラス席側も「さいたま」では中々お目にかかれない雰囲気と人々。 横浜に来ると良く感じることそれは「人が違う」。

遠い昔、我が部下一家が世田谷区から実家の栃木県に転居。 半年後、訪ねて驚いたのが「子供たちが完全に田舎の子」に変化していたこと。 住む場所で、その環境で人って随分変わるんだなと驚いたものだ。

こちらのお店も当然ながら多くは女性客。 しかも、明るい雰囲気を醸されている。 スタッフさんたちの動きもスムーズで細やか。 数名の欧州系のスタッフさんたちがいたのには正直驚き。

この日は久しぶりに「昼酒」する予定でJRで集合。 珍しく我が連れ合い様も「ビール」を注文。 一杯1,300円には参ってしまったが今日は会計を忘れましょう♪

僕は「芳醇」に。 後の2種も頼み、皆で味比べ。 正直、これまで飲んだことがない「旨さ」だった。 こんなフルーティーなビールは普段は飲めない。 この「スプリングヴァレー」シリーズが「キリン系」だとは全く知らなかった。 たまには本物のビールを飲むべきですね～～～

お陰で会話が進みましたね～～～ 我が家の義母転居の話、弟家族のその後の話。 そして、20年ぶりに再会した弟家族の話。 良い空気と美味しい料理は時間を変えますね。

気分が良くなって、シャンペンをボトルで。

パスタは変わってましたね。 何というパスタなのかは知りませんが、一つは「武蔵野うどん」風。 もう一つも太くて硬めでした。

ソースもこれまでとは違った味付けで老齢の我々には・・・・。 連れ合い様の選んだ「トマトソース」も余りお口に合わなかったご様子。 その分、しっかりデザートは戴いていました(^^♪
