A peaceful place that makes you forget that you are in busy Yufuin.

Because there are not many seats compared to a large space, the waiting time may be longer than expected. Another big advantage is that restaurants near Kinlin Lake have separate parking spaces.

We ordered basil pasta, pork sand, and beef stew as a set menu, but I think the set is better because it comes with a drink and salad. The most satisfying item was the pork sand, which was recommended by many people, and the basil pasta did not get good reviews, but it was rich in basil, so I was satisfied.

Satisfaction with the most expensive beef stew was rather low. The beef stew came with two small buns, but it wasn't enough to eat as a meal, and it was unfortunate that you couldn't order additional bread.

Seeing such a beautiful cafe near the lake, which is THE local attraction, you could expect to pay far too much for insufficient quality. That is not the case here. The prices were indeed on the higher end (500-700 for the coffee), and around 800-1000 for the desert. They were, however, entirely worth it, the hot blend of coffee and the seasonal figs tart were excellent and made for a great breakfast.
