We came there jn the evening, took a taxi for 8 dollars because it was somfar away from the station. They have no transport at the hotel so u pay alot for the taxis. At the ryokan an angry witch opened the door and she brought us to our room, when we went for the onsen we saw cockroaches and spiders and flies and other scary animals swimming in the water, the water was black and the onsen looked like the gateway to hell. I think if i went into that onsen i couldve never come out of it alive. I would have at least 99 deceases and die in my ryokan at night. At the and the witch asked for 600 yen for the onsen we didnt use. I ran away into my cab and was happy this nightmare had ended!! My girlfriend is still lost somewhere in that...

Read moreUnbelievable space for the price. We have a family of 6, and were so comfortable! The onsens are wonderful! Two wester stile full size beds, and plenty of futons for the kids. Check in was easy, and staff were gquick to reply electronically. We had some trouble getting to the place originally, because it is isolated by a very narrow road, that happened to be blocked by another visitor right before we got there. They had accidentally taken the turn to close and didn't see the ledge because it was dark. We parked nearby and ended up walking an extra 100 yards, but that just added to the adventure. Waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and seeing mist over the nearby mountains...
