Very good Kebab Dishes just a few walking minutes from the Mercure Downtown Hotel. I love their food. The "german kebab" = Döner Kebab is really tasting awesome. They also have Dürum (Roll) and Currywurst. The staff is really friendly and helpful, they speak english very well and a bit of german. I will visit the Dönerhaus every time i come to Almaty. 5 stars & highly recommended!

Finally – the perfect Döner taste for me. By accident I found this place on Google Maps, and yes, the Döner really tasted just like the ones I know from Germany. A bit disappointing that they list “Currywurst” on the menu but don’t actually have it available (especially since curry sauce is so easy to make).

Хрустящий снаружи, мягкий внутри — фалафель здесь один из лучших в городе. Донеры — без фри и жирного соуса, только настоящее мясо, свежие овощи и выверенный баланс вкусов. Всё гармонично, с вниманием к деталям. Особенно радует, что здесь ценят и уважают вегетарианство — для тех, кто не ест мясо, всегда найдётся достойный, вкусный и полноценный вариант. Отдельная благодарность хозяйке — невероятная женщина, которая вкладывает душу не только в кухню, но и в атмосферу. Уют, гостеприимство и доброта ощущаются с порога. Это место, куда хочется возвращаться снова и снова. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет еду с характером и сердцем

We visited this restaurant with high expectations based on the reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t resemble authentic Turkish-German döner at all. We were disappointed with the food, which lacked quality, and the unnecessarily expensive compared to other places offering better food. Additionally, they charge extra for even spices.
