Great beer, however the service really spoiled it for me. I was a tourist in town, and was excited to try beer from Kazakhstan (or that part of the world in general). The bartender spoke English yet everything seemed to be a problem; asking where it was brewed got me a short/snarky answer, asking to sample a small taste before ordering a pint got me major attitude and muttering under his breath, and then finally asking for the receipt seemed to be outside the realm of his comprehension. I’m not sure why the bartender seemed aggressive, the bar was by no means busy. Seeing the tip jar on the bar made me laugh - if he enjoyed his job and didn’t make me feel like a burden then I would have happily tipped.
