Title: A Carnivore's Paradise in Nairobi! Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fogo Gaucho restaurant in Nairobi, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other. As a self-proclaimed carnivore, I was in meat heaven with their extensive selection that ranged from succulent beef cuts to exotic options like crocodile. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with an authentic South American flair. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, explaining the various cuts of meat and their preparation methods. What truly set Fogo Gaucho apart was their unique dining concept. Servers elegantly paraded around with skewers of sizzling meats, offering a continuous feast for the senses. Each cut was expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection, resulting in flavors that danced across my palate. The variety was astounding. I indulged in tender beef ribs that practically melted off the bone, savory lamb chops that were seared to a delightful crispiness, and even dared to try the intriguing crocodile meat which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. The accompanying sides were equally impressive, from the fresh salads to the delectable sauces that complemented the meats flawlessly. Portion sizes were generous, allowing me to sample a wide range of meats without feeling overwhelmed. The waitstaff was efficient in ensuring that my plate was never empty and my dining experience was truly enjoyable. While the focus was predominantly on meat, I appreciated that they also catered to vegetarians with a variety of tasty options. If you're a meat enthusiast like myself and are seeking a culinary adventure that goes beyond the ordinary, Fogo Gaucho is a must-visit. With its exceptional selection of meats, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance, it's a carnivore's paradise right in the heart of Nairobi. My visit to Fogo Gaucho will remain a memorable highlight of my dining experiences, and I can't wait to return for another round of mouthwatering indulgence!

I went to the one in Westlands. First impression, very welcoming from the door, you are asked how many you are and they advice you where to sit. Once you are sat they request you to go and serve salads on your own. The Kachumbari and pepper was amazing, make sure you also take pineapples I hear they help with digestion. The salads are a buffet setup so you get to choose a variety. Their was a green soup so yummy, their is also bread among other things you are allowed to knock yourself out there. Strong advice keep the salads minimal cause you don't want to be filled before the meat is served. Now, a waiter is allocated to your table to help you just incase. A person is charged 2800/=(all you can eat/ bottomless) and other drinks are charged separetly. Went in for my birthday you can request for a small cake which they also charge separetly. The team sings as they bring it to your table a very warm way. totally loved it. The piece of cake is about 800 and the drinks for cocktails between 700-850 depending. Water is 400. You will love it here. I rarely go back to a place twice but am willing to do it again. Particularly loved the Chicken, oh I had a taste of crocodile too.their meat is well done. Would give it a 10/10.

From the moment I stepped into Fogo Gaucho in Nairobi, I was transported into a world of exquisite tastes and aromas. This Brazilian steakhouse offers a phenomenal dining experience that tantalizes the taste buds and delights the senses. The ambiance is warm and inviting, capturing the essence of Brazil with vibrant decor and lively music. The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a memorable experience. But the real star here is the food! The array of perfectly grilled meats, carved at the table in traditional churrascaria style, was both impressive and delectable. Each cut, from the tender picanha to the flavorful lamb chops, was cooked to perfection, bursting with juicy flavors. The accompanying buffet offers a variety of fresh salads, sumptuous sides, and authentic Brazilian dishes, complementing the meats beautifully. What's more, the dessert selection was divine, a perfect end to a magnificent feast. Fogo Gaucho is not just a meal; it's a celebration of rich flavors and culinary excellence. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Nairobi!

This is a Brazilian style all you can eat meat buffet, but it fell a bit short it the quality of food and service. When we first arrived it was relatively empty so the staff was very attentive. But it soon filled up and then you could tell that they were not well organized and the service suffered tremendously. They have a traditional buffet with appetizers, salads, desserts and other items which was alright. Then they offer 17 different “meats”, and of 14 that I tried only two were really tasty. Most of them were too bland for my taste and didn’t entice you to go for more. Getting the bill became an adventure but eventually we did. If you consider eating a lot to mean good food, then this is the place for you. But if you are looking for quality and great taste, this is overpriced and not worth it.

Fogo never disappoints, the first time I went there was during a dinner with my workmates and of course we enjoyed the all you can eat assortment. The restaurant was almost full when we got there, tells you how good it is. What I love most is that the waiters just keep coming as long as your card is turned up on the green side which means “give me more”, they will be there every passing minute! The variety of meats served was extensive, and between us, we tried many, including grilled fish, crocodile, topside beef, chicken thighs, and sausages. I have never seen and tasted so much meat in my life like that day. It was my first time tasting crocodile meat and I actually loved it. Perfect ambience for both family and friends.
