PRONTO RESTAURANT (Kimathi Street) — Restaurant in Nairobi

I'm a regular customer of the pronto restaurants. Their food is always so good,their ice cream & shakes like no other.but this time round we had dinner on a Sunday afternoon for 3 (different meals)diff smoothies & shake ,that night we dint sleep we stayed up next to the toilet in turns from 2.30am.my hubby was travelling this wk says his stomach still feels not ok miles away,my son puked in the bus on his way to school Monday had a bad day at school😟.I dono the last time I diarrhoea but it wasn't a good feeling for me n hubby still recovering till now.something was not right in the kitchen and needs to be changed ,or the food was not fresh I dono....for me I hd plantains tht were darker than usual ,the beef samosa was extremely dry on the inside the minced very hard seemed not fresh ..for his sauce twaz too...

Food is good. However, THE WAITERS!!! This is the one place ive seen the most busy bodies. They are so many waiters, yet extremely poor service. They just walk around and pretend they are busy and stand at the back of the restaurant pretending they are alert and looking for to serve but you'll easily stay 45 min without being served with waiters just standing around. I had to stand from my seat and ask them if they came to work. And you'll pay yourself at the counter, they dont bother. Save your coins and go elsewhere, like Pronto Aga Khan Walk who have...

Now this is a review on the one on City hall. My review for this one is under the City hall reviews. The place is nice, the ambiance is amazing. The service too was nice. I ordered the mexican burger (chicken patty) with passion juice, no one can ever go wrong with Mexican food. The burger was almost a 1000 bob, was it worth it? No I don't think so.
