Chinatown Restaurant — Restaurant in Bishkek City

Avoid coming to this place. Bad service. Don't notify customers on out of stock dishes after order. Slow service. Duck dish we got is mainly bones and skin, no meat, not good flavor, and crazy overpriced. Waitresses are making false excuses for the restaurant's bad service (no hot water in the kitchen for tea).

Went for dinner at 9pm. Ordered the Peking duck set and a tea. Not served with tea for more than 20 minutes. When we asked, they went to get us the tea and sent a waiter that spoke English that explained they didn't have hot water in the kitchen (?!?!). Asked him about the food order and said he'll check. After 45 minutes since we made the order, and when we realized other tables that came after us got their food long ago, went to the hostess and asked about our order. Then, with the English speaking waiter, they told us they ran out of all the Peking ducks!!! Offered to take one dish from the menu free as compensation, and recommended the fried duck. Waited for 30 minutes extra. 1.5 hours since we came to the restaurant we got the food. The fried duck dish was duck leftovers with mainly bone and skin. If that is the real dish they usually serve, and not giving us leftovers because it was free, then it is outrageously over priced. Tastes bad. Had lunch at China Town in Bishkek and it was an excellent experience overall. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. The food quality was absolutely amazing, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes that really stood out.

during lunar new year we went to visit this place for celebration, never have been there before. yet this place has left the worst impression it could. steep prices, impolite service, mannered waitres, loud people, (and I mean, very loud people that should be warned to scream and laugh like this).
