Scam. I decided to try this place after the place immediately next door failed to put pork in my takeaway pork omelette. The omelette is 10000 kip cheaper here, the soup tastes better, and I actually got a smile. However, AGAIN there was no pork in my pork omelette. Typical Laos. At least the omelette next door included vegetables. Also, the male owner coughs all over the restaurant which is lovely. I insisted on paying 20000 kip instead of 25000 due to the absence of the most expensive ingredient.

This shop has many local noodle and rice dishes. Seems to be visited by both locals and tourists. Price is good. I've ordered Khao Soi laos version, although it shares the same name as the Thai version. It doesn't taste and looks similar. I really enjoy the lao Khao Soi and this shop you can choose which meat you want!

Local, authentic, good customer service, cheap. Perfect! Noodle soup were very tasty. We tried to look for a good place where locals go to and we were so happy to have found this gem. We were the only “tourists” eating there for lunch. Most customers were locals. Will come back again and again. 🙏🏼
