The restaurant has a well-attended decoration, giving nice cozy vibes. They play low music, a mix of classical with beats. It fits the atmosphere well.
At first we sat outside, but later we moved inside since it gave us better vibes. There are heat lamps outside, so it won’t be a problem getting warm anyway.
Hygiene is high quality, the whole restaurant is very clean. The service is quite efficient, even during very busy times. We came during peak hours, but the staff could handle things well. The waitresses are attentive and very polite, giving out warm emotions with their smiles.
As for the food, I highly recommend their creme-soup served inside bread, and their zeppelins. The flavours were unlike anything else we ever ate, very unique, both sweet and sour. Stewed pork was also quite tasty, but ordinary. Their sallad ingredients were very fresh, definitely a good recommendation for starter dish.

Read moreWe visited as we googled where to find some traditional Latvian food and we was really impressed. We did feel a bit out of place in there as we was English and there wasn’t any other tourists but it was an overall pleasurable experience. We was asking the waitress how to say thank you in Latvian and they was more than happy to help us learn so that was nice! We had the potato pancakes, beef stroganoff and fish cakes and all of them were amazing. It seems like a family run type business and it was great! It was a cute little restaurant with very comfy furniture and it was lovely and warm inside as it was snowing outside. We definitely enjoyed it, and would recommend to visit to try Latvian food if you are...
