Stepping into this steakhouse felt like wrapping up in a warm hug – the atmosphere is just so wonderfully cosy and inviting! We'd booked our table and arrived right on time, receiving such a friendly welcome. They showed us to our perfect little spot, and soon we were settling in with the menu, eagerly ordering drinks and some delicious-looking side dishes. Then came a really cool part – they guided us over to their showcase cabinet to choose our steaks! Seeing the quality cuts was a real treat for the eyes. We couldn't resist selecting the incredible Wagyu and a gorgeous aged ribeye, asking for them both to be cooked to that perfect medium rare. Back at our table, sipping our wine, the timing was impeccable. Just as we were relaxing and enjoying the first half of our drinks, our steaks arrived, looking absolutely phenomenal alongside perfectly grilled veggies and potatoes. And the taste? Oh my goodness! The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, unbelievably juicy, and cooked with true culinary skill. It was pure perfection on a plate. Here's something amazing – if you're like us and love to savour every single bite, they'll even warm your steak up for you! How thoughtful is that? The service throughout the evening was just as fantastic – attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly, and the wine selection was spot on. Honestly, if you're looking for an exceptional steak experience, you absolutely have to visit. We wholeheartedly recommend it and are already planning our next trip back....
Read moreBon Hxui :-) Good expensive steaks, terrible service!! Do not go there on a Sunday at 15h, they ran out of steaks?? They have all empty tables and empty seats at the bar and they say all is reserved from 17h when I was there at 15h. If they cannot handle reservations they should not accept any. They do not even offer you an alternate time when they can serve you but the cook comes after you to kick you out from a single person table with no reservation sign on it, to tell you they are only two people. Learn manners. Shouldn't the cook be busy cooking instead of being busy kicking clients out? This is the center of Vilnius not some village. And I was really hungry after a half marathon and was eager to spend over 100 euros for a huge steak. I guess they do not care about making money. Also there are only two people working there thus their customer service suffers. Is it so hard to hire a waitress? The lady at the cashier always has a hard time calculating the bill and it takes her forever. Also their working hours are bad. They could be open longer and more often. If they ran out of steaks they should just tell you instead of kicking you out rudely on a sunny Sunday afternoon at 15h. I ended up going to another meat place on Vilnius gatve instead and had a very descent Argentinian ribeye for half the price as it would be at Bon Chop, with no stress and...
Read moreI had diner here on a Saturday, reserved a table at 18h00 ( i had the option to reserve at 18h00 or 20h00, given the difference in timezone i opted for the first option).
They seated me next to the entrance, not ideal since first part of the restaurant also functions as a (butcher)store.
You basically choose a piece of meat 🥩 in their counter and let them grill it (€3,5). They also serve some sides (see picture), I went for the Caesar salad 🥗 but I don’t recommend that to anyone, instead of a regular caesar they serve you some red lettuce, and a couple of shavings of parmesan.. no Roman lettuce, croutons, dressing, etc. In hindsight I better skipped the salad and added 100gr to my steak 🥩.
I “bought” a dry aged ribeye ( blue) , this was cooked good but didn’t get the time to acclimate or rest .. it went from (cold) counter to plate in about 10 minutes.
This place has definitely potential, but need to work at some basics before it calls itself a steak restaurant.
Fyi: I indicated that I wasn’t pleased with the (so called) Caesar salad, the response I got was: “we don’t serve chicken in...
