The barman (owner?) demanded a tip after I paid and was rude when I looked confused. Since when do people tip anywhere in Lithuania, let alone Europe, let alone anywhere in the world outside the USA? After this my friend got a beer and he served it rudely, splashing half of it on her hands. And it was poured with a foam head the size of an iceberg.
The most insidious part of all this? She paid for a €4.80 beer with a €5 note and the happy bartender decided to take it upon himself to keep the €0.20. She was obviously shaken after this and didn’t ask for her change. I wonder if he would’ve done it to someone his size, who wouldn’t have been intimidated by his bullying nature?
I totally agree with another review, the lager that we were recommended by the barman (because our selected beer was “out”…) tasted suspiciously watery. I even said to my friend that it tasted like water. So it’s perhaps interesting that others have had this same experience.

Don't be afraid to question his technology not calculating the prices correctly.
It all adds up....

At around 11PM, the bar "Slojikai" on Vokiečių Street was playing Russian music at full volume-despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, the historu of occupation, and the current sensitive geopolitical situation. Such a choice in public space, especially in the hearth of Vilnius Old Town, seems not only disrespectful to the people of Lithuania but also entirely tone-deaf to the realiry we live in. To us, this is unacceptable and incompatible with modern Lithuanian values. We will not return and cannot...
