Surprisingly delightful! Despite reading mixed reviews, my curiosity led me to explore this local hotspot, and it turned out to be a hidden gem. The atmosphere is a delightful fusion of hipster chic, the lively ambience of a sports bar, and a welcoming haven for a diverse array of patrons, ranging from families to young professionals. Sports enthusiasts will find themselves right at home, with ample screens broadcasting football matches and beloved Lithuanian basketball games. As for the food, my initial uncertainties were swiftly dispelled upon trying dishes like the cold borscht soup and chicken kievs with fries – simple yet delicious and reasonably priced too. And let's not forget the impressive beer selection, which further adds to the experience. Even during peak hours, the staff exhibited commendable efficiency in managing the bustling crowd, ensuring that everyone was served promptly and with a smile. It's undoubtedly a place where you can soak in the authentic local vibe. Count me among those eagerly planning a return visit. Kudos to the team for creating such an inviting atmosphere! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from FreeTours and Google reviews. The restaurant is dark, noisy and feels more like a bar. Upon arrival we discovered that everything needed to be ordered and reported in person at the bar, but we couldn't find this information written anywhere, so we only found out after a few minutes of observation. The service in the form of two gentlemen was not nice at all. It was saved only by the lady from the kitchen, who was pleasant to communicate with. We didn't have the dishes we originally wanted to order, we wanted to have traditional main dishes, so we had to choose another alternative. We also had the pink soup, was not tasty, but we found that out only when we tasted it in a better establishment, as it was our first pink soup. The main dish tasted good, so the taste saved the overall impression of the restaurant. We didn't wait long at all for the food, so satisfaction in that respect as well. We paid €24 for two meals, soup and water.

In the diverse landscape of Vilnius' pub scene, Pub Šnekutis stands as a genuine testament to local tradition. While it doesn't chase contemporary glamour, it offers an unpretentious and authentic experience. Its impressive beer selection pays homage to its role as a trailblazer, introducing craft beer to Vilnius long before it became the trend. Complementing this is a menu of hearty Lithuanian dishes, served in generous portions. The pub's deep-rooted legacy is evident in its very name, inspired by its owner whose family has been brewing beer for generations. Recollections of him, once behind the bar in his signature hay hat, add a touch of nostalgia. Pub Šnekutis isn't just another drinking spot; it's a chapter in Vilnius' brewing tale, and a must-visit for those seeking an authentic experience.

Tasty! I had the smoked pig ears with mustard and it was my favourite 11/10 like the flavour bro salty smoky and just addictive texture , Cepelinai (lovely) , another potato dish filled with meat that i forgot the name (hella tasty) , the cheese curd pancakes (yooo so good) and the sausage (bit dry but the sides are good) And a dark beer. All of it was like 26 euros. Paid with card. The atmosphere is actually calm and relaxed. Went by myself and didn't feel weird. You could also eat at the bar. On the tv was a basketball tournament, around me groups of local lads having a massive beer and fried bread (next time ill try those) everyone seems cool. The guy at the bar with the hat is hip and kind, he even packed away the food i couldn't finish. Yeh ye

Snekutis is a dark sports bar offering a short menu of simple, traditional Lithuanian eats at a bargain price. The Saltibarsciai was a cold soup made with beets, cucumbers, dill, and kefir, served with hot boiled potatoes on the side. The Lithuanian Peas were boiled yellow peas topped with an oily mixture of cracklings (fatty pork), which gave the peas a salty, meaty flavor. Finally, the Homemade Dumplings were stuffed with a spiced meat filling, topped with cracklings, and served with a ramekin of sour cream on the side. Overall, the food here was rather average in quality—the beet soup was rather bland, and the peas were dry and slightly undercooked. While this was no gourmet restaurant, everything came cheap and with plenty of beer!

Cool interior! Best food from the menu must be PEAS! Really surprising dish and probably the best tasty local dish in Vilnius. Highly recommended. Reasonable prices and good choise of beers. Oven baked potatoe dish with pork leg was a bit disappointing. Had only bones in my dish and the potato was plane and tasteless. Portion was huge. Needed a lot more pepper to give the dish at least some taste.. Garbage rolls were too big and the meat inside was also tasteless. Maybe it's Lithuanian way, but we prefer more seasoning and think that it makes a huge difference. Nice surprise was a huge picture in the entrance. Way too good! :D
