My recent visit to Spyros Metaxas in Vilnius, Lithuania, left me with a distinct sense of dissatisfaction, particularly concerning their gyro. As a staple of Greek cuisine, one expects a certain standard of authenticity and flavor, neither of which were met during my meal.
The most striking issue was the gyro itself. It was noticeably under-filled, lacking the generous proportions one anticipates from such a dish. More critically, it suffered from a complete lack of structural integrity; the contents seemed to spill out with every attempt to hold it, making for a messy and frustrating eating experience. Beyond these tactile disappointments, the gyro was remarkably flavorless. We had an amazing experience at this lovely Greek restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and authentic. The food was absolutely delicious — I had the ancient pita, which was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. My wife ordered the chicken souvlaki, and it was perfectly grilled, tender, and seasoned just right.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Greek food and top-notch...
