Great experience at Artisan Kopitiam and Lounge!
Dropped by for a meal and was pleasantly surprised by both the food and the vibe. I ordered the Salmon Omega & Fried Rice Combo and the Grilled Chicken, and both dishes were spot on.
The salmon was fresh and nicely cooked — flaky inside with a good sear, and the fried rice was flavorful without being too greasy. Definitely a satisfying and wholesome combo. The grilled chicken was another highlight: juicy, well-marinated, and served with sides that made the dish feel complete and balanced.
The place itself is cozy with a modern kopitiam feel. It’s clean, comfortable, and has a relaxing atmosphere whether you’re dining alone or with friends. Service was friendly and efficient, and I really appreciated how welcoming the staff were.
Overall, a great spot for both local and fusion-style dishes. If you're looking for a chill place with good food, decent portions, and a calm vibe — Artisan Kopitiam and Lounge is worth checking out. Will definitely be coming back...
Read moreThis restaurant is not an uptown restaurant but they do serve western dishes. I think the best point of this restaurant is the price. The food items served here is relatively cheaper than in other western dish restaurants. To me, the price factor is the reason I believe this restaurant deserves the 5 star rating.
Someone may choose to argue about the taste of the food or the way it is served. But, you are guaranteed that you won't get a similar western dish cheaper than what you pay for in this restaurant.
I ordered a curry chicken dish. Off course, the curry does not taste like the Indian curry dishes but it definitely did not taste like a typical Chinese curry dish. My only "complain" about the curry chicken dish was that the chicken was fried prior to being made into the curry dish. My personal preference for curry chicken is that the chicken should not be fried.
But overall, with reasonable pricing and friendly staff, this restaurant is...
Read moreThe food here was excellent! and the portions were large and filling, I could hardly finish mine! The fried Tuaran mee and fried rice had a wonderful wok hei aroma. I highly recommend trying the Tuaran mee and the Sabah-style tom yum for a true taste of the local flavors. I visited because of the unique and creative kopi tumpah introduced by this kopitiam, must take pictures and post social media.. haha! They offer a wide variety of Asian and Western dishes, so there's plenty to choose from. For Western options, I suggest the Salmon Omega, fresh and perfectly baked. The carrot juice is freshly made with mild sweetness, while those who prefer sweeter drinks might enjoy the Oreo milkshake with its delicious cream topping! The staff is friendly and helpful on explaining the menu for me. Great experience and enjoyed...
