I smelled this area from far away. We were looking for lunch and pretty much set on this shop right after passing by it the first time.

We ordered the Sabah fish head soup with fragrant rice and a bowl of ngu chap.

Both the soups were deep in flavour. The fish had the right strength and depth yet wasn't fishy. The tang from the preserve vege and tomato was just right. The rice wasn't a great match but the rice on its own was good.

The ngu chap or mixed beef soup was equally as good. The soup was strong and bold yet wasn't overly beefy. I had it with bee hoon or rice noodle. Man i finished the bowl, soup and all.

The service could have been better. I can't blame them since they are super busy.

This is probably the worst restaurant I had this time. I went there at 8pm and many dishes were gone. The lady boss looked indifferent and gave us food as alms. The restaurant was also very hot. I ordered roast duck and roast chicken noodles. My noodles didn't have vegetables, but my brother's had some vegetable leaves. The chicken was cold and had a very dry texture. The photo shows how it looked when it was just served. The taste was just okay. The roast duck made in China is much better. There's no need to go...
