This hotel is a very good place to stay in KK; it has an excellent location, very friendly staff, the room (we booked the family room to have more space) was excellent, clean, AC worked perfectly, bathroom seemed recently renovated and with fresh soft towels every day. We had a kettle with mugs, tea+coffee and a small fridge to store our food and keep the water chilled (we got 4 new bottles of drinking water free daily. Otherwise the hotel has a water-cleaning system applied so their tap water is also ok to drink!)||The wifi worked fast during our stay.||It´s a fact the Friday night market on the Gaya street is loud with live music until 11 pm but we enjoyed it very much...||The hotel itself is on a side road with less traffic, so overall it was quieter than something else on the main road. Saturday/Sunday day market are literally lies around the hotel and the adjacent Gaya street, so the traffic is completely blocked away.||||Plenty of restaurants can be found for breakfast (or any time) within 1-5 minutes walk. Our favorite place was the Yee Fung Laksa to start the day with something hot and spicy :-D. But also many places offer western food too. ||All the sightseeing places, many shopping malls, the jetty to go to the islands are in walking distance.||They have a very convenient airport transfer too(free of charge) when you check out.||Thank you for the hospitality and we will definitely choose again this hotel when return to KK! Great value for the money and highly...
Read moreI have to highlight the exceptional service i received during my short stay here. Arrived at night from the last airport bus only to realize that I have lost my passport on check- in. After futile attempts at contacting the bus company to search since it was closed, Mr Henry the hotel manager drove to the airport himself and contacted the boss of the bus company. True enough they managed to search the bus and found it. I have never met anymore with such commendable work ethics to go literally all out (of hotel) to help retrieve my passport. That, i am extremely grateful.
The hotel itself is very clean, something i am particular about (clean sheets!) and reasonably priced for a budget hotel with good location.
It is very near the airport bus station and bus station in bandaran where everyone departs to various districts. Also on jalan gaya where the famous Sunday street market is.
It is also a walking distance to the Suria Sabah mall, and the ferry terminal for island hopping.
Since the location is strategic, one need not worry about food, night activities, or late...
Read moreI stayed for a week and it was fantastic in so many ways - prime location on Gaya Street (also right where the Fri and Sat night market is, as well as the Sunday farmer's market); safe, clean and comfortable; and the staff are great: very prompt, professional, and friendly. I asked for no housekeeping and in some other places I've stayed at the staff is either not properly briefed or just forget and still come in. Here there was zero issue with that. Then whenever I needed anything and called the front desk, my call was answered immediately and whatever I requested was delivered shortly. Era was especially helpful when I was facing some issues and personally took it upon herself to really help me out, something I was extremely grateful for! The only thing is I found the lighting quite dim (difficult to do makeup, so had to use the flashlight on my phone, which isn't ideal). But everything else was ideal for my stay. Would recommend, and would...
