Hai I'm from Brunei and it was my first time eating here at Todak Waterfront. It wasn't as i expected. I almost got scammed here. The food was bland, not as good as in the pictures. I ordered for medium size squid but comes out small squids (baby squids). I got angry and told them that i paid for medium sized not the small baby squids. Luckily they felt guilty and cooked new dish. Sadly the squids wasn't cooked well, still raw i give 1/10 for that. The mussels didn't washed properly. The stomach or "rambut kupang" didn't peeled off. It is dangerous if people eat that.
Next day i went there again but in a different hawker. The food was also bland and tasteless. It didn't makes me happy and i saw three rats crawling on the floor. Yikes!

Read moreWe had our dinner here.. We arrived shortly after 6 pm. This place is alive at night. Many stores offer a variety of fresh seafood. You can choose the way you want them to be cooked. The price is very competitive. I noticed people tend to go to the store near the sea. Me too.
I am not sure if are they the better ones or because the feeling is better to sit by the sea rather than next to the road. I think it is value for money. The seafood is very fresh. However, the local way of steaming is different from the Hong Kong style of steaming. Read moreThe place just so so. nothing special except for the seafood. price reasonable but base on local friend work in peninsular, the food little over piece. but the foods quality definitely super fresh. so overall still worth it. the area just pack with many youngster, but may be it due to public holiday. If you guys driving around, the parking little bit hard. depending your luck. but if you willing to walk little. many parking at the opposite road.
For local malaysian.. you will find the seafood over over priced. we can get better...
