Signel Poshtel, The Rare Gem of North Borneo — Hotel in Borneo

I only stayed here for a short time just to rest from the airport until my brother come to pick me up.

I learned that this is a new hotel. Not hotel actually but "Poshtel", it's my first time learning that terms too. It's like a luxury hostel.

First of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There's a guy help me bring my luggage to the reception desk. I forgot to ask his name.

And then I was greeted by a nice front office staff, the check-in time was 3pm so I can't check in yet since I arrived at 1pm without additional fees. But that is fine, I was planning to go nearby shopping mall anyway. They help me keep my luggages.

After that, there's a nice housekeeping staff show me around the Poshtel. Where's the toilet, shower ,the lounge, pantry and the room. Her name is Puteri, thank you so much!

Let's talk about the room, the bed was so spacious! It's not like regular hostel! Well of course it's a Poshtel!

Everything is New and Fresh.

The location is strategic with a many shopping district and shopping mall nearby. Also, if you are hungry at night, there is a Night Market and Orange convenience store which is open for 24 hours below the hotel, you can literally see it from the windows!.

This gonna be my favorite hotel everytime I visit KK!

A very new establishment in Kota Kinabalu. There are still ongoing renovations or works when I was there a few weeks ago. The location is the prime, located in Gaya Street, with walkable distance to tourist attractions like the Australia place, Atkinson tower, and the waterfront. Also, there are night markets next to the place and the famous Gaya Street Tamu morning sunday market outside the hostel. The decorations in the hostel are posh. Every detail is meticulous. The room is spacious and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, and air conditioning in the room is very cool. Though there is a dividing curtain at each bed to provide some privacy to shared room dwellers but it is too thin. The thinness of it will be noticeable when somebody tries to put on the light near midnight when you are trying to get a sleep. The hangout place is small but quite cosy.
