I want to share my authentic personal experience and provide insights about what could be improved. During what was meant to be a special family dinner, we encountered several significant issues with the food preparation.

The crab dish was particularly problematic. The crab was excessively coated in batter, seemingly intended to be crispy, but the result was an unappetizing, soggy texture that completely overwhelmed the seafood's natural flavor.

Even more concerning was the steamed fish. The fish was undercooked—a critical issue not just at our table, but apparently affecting more than 3 different dining groups that evening. It was almost hilarious to watch people sending their fish back to the kitchen again and again, highlighting a clear problem with quality control.

On a positive note, I will acknowledge that the seafood itself was fresh. The crab and fish appeared to be of good quality, which makes the poor preparation even more disappointing.

While this is a negative review, I hope it serves as constructive feedback that could help the restaurant improve its food preparation and overall dining experience.

But would I ever come back again?...

When it comes to the food, Jumbo Palace knows how to deliver a memorable seafood experience. The menu features a diverse range of options, allowing even the pickiest eaters to find something they'll love. Each dish showcases the freshness and quality of the seafood.

One standout dish I tried was the signature seafood porridge. The combination of fresh seafood, perfectly cooked grains, and flavorful broth made for an unforgettable dining experience. The chefs truly have a knack for capturing the essence of the sea.

The service at Jumbo Palace is truly something to commend. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish, accommodating special requests and providing useful recommendations. Their professionalism and warm demeanor contributed greatly to the overall dining experience.

The atmosphere at Jumbo palace is simply delightful. The spacious seating arrangement provides a comfortable and intimate dining experience, whether you're enjoying a meal with a loved one or hosting a larger...

If not fr the staff service, I would rather just give 1star! Had a pretty lousy dinner this evening; tried the most expensive Lou Sang with 5 slices of salmon fr a small serving costing MYR118.00 but tasted mediocre plain rough & wet soggy vege & no crackers becos finished!! Crabs compared to their competitor going far more better in business was more expensive by MYR20 too! Nothing to shout about this restaurant & for what we paid close to MYR700 fr fresh prawns, 4 crabs, 2 small serving vege & 1 mihun fr 5 paxs…. I will not recommend simply bcos the competitor along the same street is far better & cheaper! Importantly, I believe being sincere & frank is an important element in food biz to attract customers! It’s our one & only time & hope it helps others to avoid such...

Rm22 for a small SEAFOOD noodles. To be exact, it's a WASTE OF MONEY. Charging at this price the tapau using polystyrene food box. Most importantly look at the seafood, few slices of FISHCAKES, chopped tiny prawns and squid like what you can see in the photo. I whatsapp them is it a seafood noodles suppose to be like this. They only asked am I tapau for small size. I said yes and no more reply from them. Really bad service!!!!!! Mayb we tapau at 10pm+ then they don't have anymore defrosted seafood or what. If cannot do it then say don have, really ruined my staycation in KK.
