We ordered 3 servings of bak kut teh soup, they suggested combining into one large pot for our family. The large pot turned out to have limited pork slices, we felt that the ingredients seemed lesser than 3 separate pots. The staff was friendly, although they forgot our dry bkt, and they didnt inform us that the pork liver that we ordered were not available until we asked. The restaurant had air condition which was nice in this hot humid weather. We also ordered the dry bak kut teh. Overall the soup and bkt were not as flavourful as some other bak kut teh we have tried in the area.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the Bak Kut Teh. While there are various preparations available, the standout recommendation is the Dry Bak Kut Teh. Unlike the traditional soup-based version, the Dry Bak Kut Teh offers a more concentrated and intense flavor profile. The tender pork ribs are marinated and slow-cooked to perfection, absorbing a rich blend of herbs and spices that provide a savory depth without the accompanying broth. This version pairs exceptionally well with steamed rice and a side of fresh vegetables, allowing the robust flavors of the meat to shine.

Ordered the following: Soup Bak Kut Teh Dry Bak Kut Teh Add-on pork ribs Add-on lean pork Stir fried leaf lettuce with garlic Stir fried chye xin with garlic and pork Yang Zhou Fried Rice The soup bak kut teh had a good amount of herbal taste and the blended selection of pork makes the dish well balanced. Dried bak kut teh was pretty well done and not too salty. Both stir fried vegetable dishes are also well balanced and fragrant. The fried rice wasn’t too oily and salty, very tasty. The staff were friendly and were prompt when we requested for refill of the soup.

A month a go was having family dinner at this restaurant. Arriving at 6:30pm not even a single customer in this restaurant. I am having a bit of uneasy due to 0 customer at that moment we step into this restaurant. First we order soup bak kut teh and dry bak kut teh , a vege dish cook with fu yu some kind of fermented chinese bean curd and a steam fish which is off the menu at that moment . The chef was super nice by telling me he can cook us a steam fish which is off the menu. I once try steam fish talapia combine with soup bak kut teh was super nice that I wanna try it again at this restaurant . Once the dish arrive honestly speaking the soup bak kut teh is strong at herbs taste which is ok for me. I am not the type of liking more herbs flavor bak kut teh. The dry bak kut teh is on the par……very tasty I love it. The vege also good very tasty and the fish ok this is the super star. The fish is very good taste the fish steam sauce also very tasty mix with rice to eat yummy…. Service was very good too they will follow up with us by asking us how’s the food . The environment is normal place with airconditional . Fly inside the restaurant owner might have to do something as some customer they might feel uneasy. Overall good satisfied for me...

Dining at Yuan Kee Bak Kut Teh was a delightful experience. The moment I arrived, the staff's professionalism shone through—they greeted me warmly, guided me to my table, and promptly took my order with great attentiveness. The food was simply outstanding! The Bak Kut Teh was rich and flavorful, with tender, perfectly cooked meat that melted in my mouth. The side dishes complemented the meal beautifully, and everything was served fresh and piping hot. The cozy atmosphere and exceptional service made the experience even better. Yuan Kee Bak Kut Teh is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic,...
