Decided to try this place out for the first time after putting it on hold for a few months, and was glad we did. We were the only ones there when we arrived at around 1100hrs. All the food seemed fresh and there were more still coming out from the kitchen at the time. I'm guessing they're mostly aiming for the lunch audience.

I'd give them a 6 out of 5 for the food if I could, it is just that good. We went for the standard fried bitter gourd and mutton varuval, and both of them exceeded our expectations. Decided to try all the curries they had to offer: chicken, fish and dahl curry. All of them were top notch. Mango lassi was great to clear the palate from all the spiciness from the food, we were even surprised that they threw in hints of cardamom into the drink which alot of other places don't. The quality of their food were not lacking in any way at all during our time there.

All in all, I would definitely come again, and would definitely recommend people come here. I'll be looking forward to stopping by in the evenings to try...

Came here thought it was the old shop "Big guru Curry". Din't know the shop changed brand and owner.

Here's what I thought of the food (It was awful)

Squid was dry and hard Chicken was even more dry Everything, basically everything is microwaved and we can even hear them microwave our food. We came here on a Sunday (7PM) and it only has 1 table. Our fault for not realising that on a Sunday dinner time the shop is not full. What a shame for microwave our food. Service? bad. just bad. can't even describe anymore.

Food was disappointing, the shop was was hot and there were only 2 fans are turned on, asked the staff to help us to turn on the fan above us and all we got was "Sorry the fan doesn't work anymore. "

Not worth coming at all.

We can't even finished so we packed it and feed the strays. Better...

Such a beautiful restaurant and I would say this is the best restaurant I had ever tried during my trip in KK.We came here in a group of eight with both vege and non-vege preference and this place served our tummy well with their authentic dish.We had thosai, fried vegetarian kuey teow, fried noodles and rojak. All came in generous portion and the price are very reasonable(almost cheap for this type of restaurant). The hotel atmosphere is filled with great ambience with divine entrance. The indian classical dance figurines lined above the food tray were cute. The staff were friendly and quick to serve.Overall, it was a great experience and strongly recommended.
