One To Six Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Borneo

What a fabulous find! I have been in Kota Kinabalu for over 3 weeks now and this is, by far, the best meal I have eaten since I arrived. The menu is extensive and varied and very reasonably priced, especially considering the freshness and high quality of all their seafood. The service is prompt and attentive without being pushy. I completely enjoyed my meal of prawn omelet, sizzling squid, roasted aubergine, and seafood noodles! I intentionally over ordered so I could explore their menu AND I would have some delicious, flavor- filled take away for the next day! Plus, they sell beer! Daddy should know his restaurant is in the very capable hands of Floren and Jason who both exhibited superb Customer Service skills in addition to speaking flawless English! I will return at least one more time (probably 2!) before I depart Kota Kinabalu for Sandakan next week! Believe me, if you like great food at reasonable prices served in a clean environment you will LOVE One to Six...

Had dinner here with my family on our last evening in KK. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavour and quality of the food! Service was quick and helpful, and all the dishes were yummy.

We ordered the dry butter prawns (live prawns), sambal veg, watan horfun, fried beehoon, and specialty tofu. The sambal veg was a little too spicy, but still flavourful. Overall, service and taste was great, and price was reasonable.

Only sad thing was that they ran out of sotong, we would have loved to try that too. Menu has quite a variety of options....

Really enjoyed the seafood here! The oysters were incredibly fresh — served on ice with lemon and sauce, absolutely delicious and clean-tasting. The Asam curry fish was rich and flavorful, with tender fish pieces and vegetables cooked perfectly in a fragrant Asam curry sauce. I did order other dishes as well such as fish sauce meehun but didn’t take picture.

Service was friendly and efficient, and good looking boss. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for quality, fresh seafood and good value in KK. Will be back...
