Tea Co. 茶控, Sutera Avenue (Sabah) — Restaurant in Borneo

We went there the first time because we stayed just above for vacation and it was closing so the cashier told us in 5 minutes we are closing so we are not taking orders now. As we were walking towards the door, the ‘boss’ asked us what drinks that we wanted because apparently they still have time to prepare it. But only bubble teas available and the rest in the menu are not available, I chose some basic bubble teas. But the cashier’s face she is clearly unhappy.

Second time we were here, the ‘boss’ works alone lol. He was making drinks and barely had time to attend the rest of the clients. Finally it was my turn to order after waiting for 20 minutes, I still had to wait a very very long time for him to prepare my drinks. What a mistake! It wasn’t just me but a few clients that arrived before and after too! Its insane. I waited for my drinks after 50 minutes, some client came and took my iced latte and then came back to return it because it was a mistake. I mean, the ‘boss’ didn’t have time to deliver the drinks because of massive orders. Anyways, the donuts and drinks taste okay. Ambiance was cool but the...

My number 1 drinks to grab finally here in KK! I believe Tea Co is the one drink cafe that serving variety and yet good standard beverages in every category, unlike others. I've tried most of it, and none of it ever disappoint me! This time I try the Mango Boom, although is not one of the star drink, but it can beat any of the star drinks from other brands!

The food service is slightly different than the one I've experienced in Miri. In Miri, the food is a self service concept. Anyway, I recommend you to try their sesame ma ngi 👍🏼 There's total of 7 traditional local snacks, which is not as much as in Miri lah.

pretty disappointed with the service at tea.co today. was standing in front of the female staff for quite a while, waiting to order. even after her colleague told her to take my order, and i personally talked to her i wanted to order she still ignored me. the least she can do is ask me what i want to order but no eye contact, no smile. after that, she said wait but she keep doing other things for a long time. i ended up just walking out without ordering bcs she made me wait for so long. it is sad, bcs i really love the donut susu there. the last time i came, there was a female staff who wore hijab, she was friendly and much better with customers. big difference...
