Very nice place. Paid around RM70 for 4 people with 4 servings of rice. We ordered 4 dishes. Just go inside and select the ingredient you want and tell the chef the way you want it cooked. Utensils and soups are self-service. Overall we had a nice experience because the server was friendly and the food was fast and nice. The restaurant is open air with a very vintage feel. Highly recommended!

Known by the ex-pat/sailors as The Rat Hole for some reason (no rats here) this is an excellent local restaurant. Vegetables are always fresh and the food comes out fast - just simple but really tasty Chinese-Malay dishes. Also does beer, providing Ann has stocked up. The aubergine (egg plant) in garlic is a personal fave, as is the fish in black peppercorn. One of the best spots in KK.

Always come here for late dinner after landed kkia. Very traditional food stall provide local food of your choice. My combination are: sweet & sour pork, deep fried fish of the day and fried vegi with garlic. Very good taste and reasonable price(always ask the lady boss for the price first especially the price of the fish is seasonal). Only operate 5:30pm onwards.

Vegetables are always fresh and the food comes out fast - just simple but really tasty Chinese-Malay dishes. Also does beer, providing Ann has stocked up. The aubergine (egg plant) in garlic is a personal fave, as is the fish in black peppercorn. One of the best spots in KK.

First visit for dinner with my daughter on 4 November 2022. Great improvement on atmosphere. Service is excellent, reminds me of my young bachelor days, I used to eat here every evening and that was 15 years ago. The food definitely my taste.
