The initial impression was good when we arrived at this restaurant, things started to go downhill from the moment we sat down. Menu was given to us, without telling us that we needed to order through the QR code (the QR code was not on our table). Only after sometime the QR code was given to us when we told the waiter we were ready to order. Food was served not long after and surprisingly the food was quite tasty. Half way munching through our dinner, guess who shows up? 2 cockroaches climb up from the back of the sofa seat from where my kids were seated. My daughter jumped off the seat instantly and we quickly told the waiter about the unwelcome "guests". Well, one of it was "taken care" right in front of our eyes (the other one escaped up to the wall) by our waiter. And without any hesitation, our waiter walked away like nothing happened. Giving it overall 5 stars because of the taste and price point. The service is nothing to call home about, but quite efficient. As you can see in the picture, it’s a small space in the Gurney basement and the tables are quite close to each other. But that’s just how it’s set up, I don’t think it’s intended for those who wish to linger! 😉 However the food is great and the price is reasonable as well—which is the whole point of a restaurant isn’t it! We ordered the grilled pork chop set, it comes with some nibbles and a sour-based soup. The tofu patty mushroom noodle soup was generously portioned as well. Another thing is you get to choose the portion of rice/vermicelli from 100g to 200g. All in all, a delicious dining experience and will definitely come back...

Revisited for the crave on bahn mi, baguette in Vietnamese barbecue pork or lemon grass flavoured chicken filled with pickled carrot, cucumber and Asian celery leaves. Its crunchiness due to freshly baked from the oven is the seduction and could lingers along with time. The barbecued pork chop can be served with rice or set comes with three sides dishes. Three choices on the amount of rice to choose at the same price, pretty emphatic for customer who is on keto diet. The 顺化 rice noodles is silky smooth and moderately spiced. Pretty good to serve in AC environment during a hot summer day.
