Beigongcha (The Prestige) — Restaurant in George Town

Since we were staying nearby, we decided to give this place a try. Located within Prestige Hotel compound, there were many customers seated outside and inside the establishment. The shop itself was great, staff only can understand Mandarin or Cantonese. English speaking customers will have a hard time ordering something extra or customized items. I tried the peach oolong milk tea with lotus snow. It was okay, the sweet whipped cream with the Biscoff Lotus biscuit was delicious. But for the price, it was not quite worth the price paid. Unique in how they offer different kinds of tea. If you like tea and having options to choose from, you’d like it.

I’m visiting, so location wise isn’t the best as it’s further from typical central and closer to the edge of Georgetown. Reasonably priced. Swing by if you’re nearby to have a cosy place to chill, take break, and chat with friends.

Best place to chill, meet up and talk. The drinks is really nice, not too sweet and yet flavourful!

The price is cheaper compared to the likes of BaWangChaJi and others, and it taste better than their competitor.

The place is also quite spacious with a few indoor seat and more outdoor seat.

The staff attitude is also very good and attentive, despite being super busy at times. They even take the trouble to help me to verify my payment (paid twice) and refunded me!
