We come to this restaurant for consecutive 2 days to taste all the popular dishes. Ordering and payment at the counter. There were 2 types of menu, day time and dinner menu. In fact, you can order daytime menu, even at dinner time except special brew coffee.
For dinner, we ordered the signature scallop with prawns pumpkin risotto, which appeared in the daytime menu. It was so delicious. The risotto was one of the best I tried so far. The sauce and gravy were wonderful. The scallop was juicy and large. The prawns were done perfectly. RM43.9 was valued for money in light of quality. 5 stars
The seafood aglio olio had the same ingredients, prawns, and scallop as the signature risotto, and this item appeared in the dinner menu. Unfortunately, it was very oily when towards the end. RM32.90 was reasonable pricing. 2 stars
Signature tiramisu was highly recommended. Soft, fine, and perfect masterpiece. RM23.90 was worth. 5 stars. But, do not confuse or misorder another item with larger print "tiramisu" but it was a waffle.
The dinner was perfect. There was no queue time for the table and waiting time upon ordering about 10 minutes
The second day breakfast was a nightmare. I ordered take out norm essential and dark mocha on weekday at about 10:30am. After payment RM40.05, I requested for a receipt, but the cashier told me their printer was facing a problem and could not print out the receipt. He advised me to wait at the long chair, and he would pass me the receipt upon delivery. I just waited at the long chair. After 30 minutes, it seemed that the patrons behind my order had already collected their orders, but when I approached the cashier, to my surprise, my order didn't appear in their system. After another 10 minutes, the supervisor, Mr Yong, approached me and apologised and asked me to repeat my order. Mr Yong gave me a complimentary tiramisu cake as a token of compensation. Finally, I got my order another 10 minutes later. The total waiting time due to the mishap was 50 minutes. Thankful to Mr Yong for rectifying the problem, but quite a disappointment to the system that could omit my order just like that. 1 star for the service but 5 star to Mr Yong.
Tastewise, the norm essential was slightly above average because the herbs and the salad were special. Poached egg was poorly made. RM22.90 was a bit pricey in light of the small...

Read so much about the Tiramisu hype & was excited to try - turns out to be the most tasteless and disappointing tiramisu I've ever had. The fingers used were the generic store-bought type but tasteless/bland (not soaked enough to obtain good coffee flavour?), the whipped egg whites (not whipped enough to hold its shape? Real egg whites?) with Mascarpone seemed to be the most watery I've ever seen & had, pretty much melting off the slice despite the cold in the cafe. There aren't any layering done with the whipped whites+Mascarpone inbetween fingers, just basically finger tetris and watery white melting off the top. Cocoa powder used for the topping was good though, that's about it. For the exorbitant price of a small slice with such thin layering, it isn't worth it. There are other better tiramisu, just a few hundred metres walk away.
But hey, you do you. This is my opinion. Some people love the hype and I won't deny that. Don't let my review stop you from trying it out.
Space is big with lots of seating, high ceilings that begs for strong AC, loose gravel floor and selected areas with cemented slabs + epoxy for floors. Colour scheme mostly in the gray tones, gives off a very cold and mostly impersonal feel. Sat under one of the massive AC ducts and had condensation water drip down onto my plate - pick your spots wisely.
Staffs are friendly and very helpful. The washrooms are clean and maintained wonderfully. Those are probably the only best part of...

Cortado is interesting & delicately bitter. Coffee 7/10 — cortado 10/10
Food was good. — Really awesome. 🌟 10/10 for a few dishes, and most dishes were worth the price. 🍰 Tiramisu was okay, have had better but alcohol is really strong. Price-wise, not so worth it, as slice is small.
🥘 Food-wise; • Pumpkin Prawn Risotto — The seafood risotto is A MUST.
• Quinoa & Kale Salad — A MUST AS WELL. Refreshing, light citrus salad. Fresh veges, quinoa mix.
• Mojo Pulled Pork Egg’s Benedict was also okay. A little salty on the pulled pork but well-balanced with other ingredients. Good well-poached egg.
• Chicken Karaage Burger was also interestingly crispy, crunchy, juicy, well-paired with other ingredients & so decadent and large. Bun was fluffy and soft. 🤩👌🏼
• Pomodoro Pasta was good but not memorable. Very tomato-y and sweet. Pasta was al-dente.
Drinks: • Cortado - I recommend for coffee lovers, but drinks were small & pricey. • Aussie Latte (dairy) is also pretty good as a non-dairy lover. It’s vanilla ice cream on latte. (served iced) • Iced Yuzu Matcha - very punchy, sour and nice well-balanced matcha. Smooth blend, complimentary pair & yummy.
The vibes are aesthetic & worth the visit. Natural daylight filled interior. Price-wise pretty high but VERY WORTH IT. Worth every visit. A must to drop by in Penang. Awesome.
Service is good and toilet soap is Aesop. 👌🏼
