The first waft of air that hits me on a hot afternoon was the coolness of the air con in this restaurant. Which I was thankful for later.
I must recommend that you try the Pani Puri. The crunchy skin combines superbly with the potato filling, perfectly flavored and well balanced spice, incredible textural chew. The accompanying sauce is a different animal. Unbelievable spice ambush. Haha. Be careful if you have a low spice tolerance like me.
The biriyani comes in a cute small portion with delicious basmati rice. The chicken was also portioned well for the rice quantity with delicious gravy. The crab rasam meanwhile was an interesting combo. The crab doesn't have much meat. Just enough for a light dish but I liked the rasam. Tangy, spicy and nice for regular sips while eating the biriyani.
Lassi was tasty and the masala tea acceptable. Somehow, the flavour just isn't kaw enough for me. I prefer my lassi and masala tea to be much thicker and heavier in taste so this was a slight underwhelming experience for me.

Read moreWent to Bhai Biryani on Friday afternoon - a hidden gem in the heart of Penang. We had plates of tasteful biryani. The fragrant basmati rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and infused with the aromatic spices. It was perfectly garnished with roasted cashews and fresh herbs.
We also had garlic cheese naan. I'd say it's heavenly blend of textures and flavors that elevates every bite. The naan was soft and pillowy on the inside with a golden, slightly crispy exterior and MasyaAllah, it was baked to perfection!
Last but not least definitely a tasteful and refreshing mango lassi. Bautifully blends the tropical sweetness of ripe mangoes with the creamy tang of yogurt. Its smooth and luscious texture glides over the palate, while the natural sweetness of the mango is perfectly balanced by the slight tartness of the yoghurt.
Go and try this restaurant. They have one of the best biryani and the flavours are incredible. The place has a cozy atmosphere and staff is friendly.
Just a small suggestion, I would recommend to play Hindi or Tamil songs adding the Indian vibes to the...
