It is located on the second floor of the plaza. Restaurant has a nice feel. We started as the only table in the restaurant later a 3 person table arrived. We ordered two drinks as we were thirsty. Drink sizes are too small. Ordered a sugarcane drink, unfortunately. It was watery and had no taste. The butterfly pea was good. But too small. We decided to order food to go. I got the black vinegar special they are known for. As they were sold out of the green curry. Rice cost extra. Also, we got the sweet and sour chicken bento. The sauces are great. The mock chicken are few and not as flavourful. Tofu way over cooked dried out. I think it's better if you give that hot and sour "sauce" over the tofu. As a side soup instead. Lastly, passive aggressive from the server. I'm not sure if it's because we have our new and empty suitcase with us. But no utensils were given to us for our takeout. Came back to get them. It takes two seconds to wipe the...
Read moreAfter a little effort, we found this restaurant on the first floor. The set up is neat, clean & orderly.
There is a wide variety of dishes covering snacks, nyonya dishes, claypot, western, and vegetarian bento. Promotion items are also available for each day. The friendly proprietress will guide you on your selection.
We selected the Tu Kha Chor and Fish 3 Rasa to go with white rice. The Tu Kha Chor with black fungus, black bean & old ginger tasted very good (although a bit spicy for me). The Fish lived up to its unique 3 tastes. Something different! The drinks was a mix of Lo Han Ko and Hedgotis tea which could cool your body system. (Thanks for recommending). I will give 5 star for the food & will return to try other dishes even though the prices is on the higher end. Ample parking lots are available, just remember to bring your card as...
Read moreWe had high expectations after reading about their top notch Google reviews. Their customer service was prompt and attentive. The interior decor is simple and cosy. However, the cooking was not as impressive as we thought. The rice was overcooked and mushy, making the whole dish completely unappetizing. The bak kut teh soup was also too salty. Overall, we felt disappointed as we were expecting restaurant-level cooking but it was...
