Shallot Aromatic Home Cooking like the name suggests, is indeed homecooking at its best. So, if you miss your Mum's Koh Char Bee dishes, head over to this restaurant and you will not be disappointed. The prices are reasonable and affordable with an extensive menu to choose from. We had Bitter Gourd Egg which you can have an option of wet and dry style. Go for the wet style as it is one of the best I have taken with the silky egg not overcooked in the right amount of gravy. Eating is believing. Next, was their signature dish, Salted Egg Crispy Homemade Tofu. If you are a lover of salted egg, you definitely cannot resist ordering it. There are some other salted egg dishes to crave for. The Tofu was crispy without being too oily but I thought it could have been even better with a stronger taste of salted egg. Another ' Chew Pai' dish is the Chicken Curry Bread. A wall of bread is created with a well in the middle which contains a specially prepared Aromatic Chicken Curry to go with the crispy, fluffy bread. Dipping the bread with the fragrant, tender chicken curry is a wholesome tasty experience. Last but not least, we had the Seong ThongYuan Soup to complement our dishes. Tag a group to go for lunch or dinner in a comfortable ambience and you will come back for more....

Been to this restaurant several times. Curry good. Friendly people, especially Mr. Yeow. Went there last week, my usual style,. bought my ownselected fish, cooking fees reasonable. But last week was a appointment. Charges went up from 6/- to 40/-.curry not like I used to take. Should let me know if you don't want customers to bring fishes for you to cook. I only eat certain fish. Exmp. Thread fin (GoaHoo) (Grouper),( Black Promfet), (Silver Promfat) and (Chinese Promfat) All these were purchased in Sg.Udang, a coastal fishing village , west of Nibong Tebal. Shallots is a place and food for everyone..tasty reasonable price..clean and good customers service is what customers will always go back to..the front guy who is always there to take order..hes such a friendly and helpful staff..thumbs up to him..he gave me and my son masks as I was almost run out of mask even tho I insisted that they need it more..very kind of him..overall the place is very clean and with a very friendly approach.. I always go for the set meals but they have ala carte too which looks very delicious..always will be...
