Gravity, Rooftop Bar, Penang — Restaurant in George Town

Very bad customer experience, I wish I had chosen a different place to spend time with my friends. Place and ambience is Great but bad customer experience ensures that all benefits turns to disappointment

1.I had booked the table in advance.We wanted to sit outside, as the place reserved was not great, when asked the representative says if it rains then we won't accommodate you inside..Then I asked what about other people who are sitting outside. He says they are our in house customer's. I felt like was I there to eat free food?..why do you have your restaurant open for all customers when you cannot provide same level of service?? When I requested for normal water the same rep again asks "tap water ?" . The water I drink is my choice, you don't have to make us look inferior because I dint buy water given to me in plastic/glass bottle When we ordered something to eat at 11, they simply mention that everything else other than liquor is closed .The most sad part was they did not even give us water after 11. Unbelievable!!

Please check with customers if they need anything before you close the kitchen. customers come to restaurant to eat, Or atleast put a notice that kitchen closes at a certain time

Overall, a good place with poor...

Disaster and Confusion reigns for Valentines Dinner at Gravity

We booked for the Valentine dinner with a cover charge of 50rm per person. We popped in as we live close by and had our names added to the list a few days before. What a disaster - i received a text two days before from them simply saying "Time" which baffled me as we had given all our details already. What sort of business writes "Time" to a client ? Maybe their watches had stopped ?

So we went and paid the 50rm a head ; there was no visible advantage ( 1 "free" glass of wine that you could buy for 38rm ) , full access to any hotel user .....we were baffled .... Obviously we werent expecting food and drink for 50rm - i suppose we imagined a bespoke Valentine menu ...? So it was a Magical Mystery dinner to some extent ..

The staff clearly didnt know what was going on , no evidence of the buffet referred to but we could order off the standard menu with a 45 minute wait Ultimately decided to leave ( feeling ripped off ) and had a really nice Valentine dinner at...

We had simple gathering at this bar, booked for 10 people. They help us to our place as promised. But because we went their during weekend (Saturday Night) about 10 pm so all tables are full. Hence service are quite slow. I just hope that they add more staff during weekend. But everything went well...all staff are friendly and even help us to move inside (bigger table) and help took picture.

Not many selections for non alchoholic beverages. 3 choices of mocktails, assorted choices of fruit juices and smoothies, a few selections of soda and bottled mineral water. I just hope they offer more mocktail selections. Prices around RM15-RM20 per glass for non alchoholic beverages.

Parked our car in basement around almost 3 hourse charge us RM7

But this is a nice place to lepak. Definitely will come again! They say the sunset view is awesome. I will be coming here...
